    - Rachel Makeeff (128 cMs) is a match to me. She is likely the granddaughter of Clinton Hovis and Louise Berger; possibly the daugher of Ruth Hovis and Emil Makeeff. No documentation to support this. (Jan16, 2020, this match is not registered onThruLines.)
    - Lindsey Frohlich (39 cMs) is a match to me. She is possibly the granddaughter of Ruth Hovis and Emil Makeeff, great granddaughter of Clinton and Louise Hovis. Connections are still private (Sept2019). It is unknown how Lindsey and Rachel might be related.

    CENSUS 1930: Ruth Hovis 16 was living with her mother Louise47 and siblings: Leown17, VInsonW12, JuniorC11, LoisC8 Hovis in Greybull, Wyoming.
    (Her father, Clinton P Hovis, was already in Canada. The census was done April 7, 1930. May 30, 1930, she came to Canada. There is no record of that border crossing, but it is mentioned on the Border Crossing when she returned to the US (Feb.17, 1938). She returned by herself and referenced her friend Mrs Pat Buckley in Sweetgrass, Montana. She was 24 and still single at that time.
