      BIRTH 1921: birth of her son, with Edward F Fryer as the father. Edith Scruggs is mentioned in the obituary of her son Edward Randolph Fryer, by Edward Frankford Fryer. From obits.dignitymemorial.com, accessed fall 2016.

      There is no record of Edith and Edward Fryer marrying but Edith takes his name. In 1930, she claims to be a widow and, in fact, Edward is deceased at that time.

      MARRIAGE 1953: on ancestry.com. Edith Fryer married Alfred A Anderson on May 22, 1953 in Billings, Montana (Montana Marriages) (Note: Edith claims to have been divorced twice and to be 43, born on Aug.16, 1909.)

      MARRIAGE 1961: on ancestry.com. Edith Fryer married John R Hartspence on June 10, 1961 in Billings, Montana. (Montana Marriages) (Note: Edith claims to be have been divorced twice and to be 48. These claims mean that her marriage to Alfred Anderson ended in death and that she was born in 1913.)

      DEATH 1966: on familysearch.org. Edith Fryer died in Oklahoma in Sepetember 1966. (US Social Security Death Index)
