She was born in Westport, to Archie and Marie Graham (nee Meitner). Irene graduated from Lillis High School. She was married to Theodore Thaine Anderson in CA and then Bernie Alvis Cockrum, who both predeceased her. Irene spent many wonderful years at the Rockhill Tennis Club and worked for the J.B. Nutter Mortgage Company, from which she retired. She is survived by two children: Candy Connell of Schaumburg, IL. and Ted Anderson of Kansas City; and many stepchildren and grandchildren.
