    • In 1940, there were two sons: Daniel Robert Burns, 2, and WIlliam Lee Burns, 1, both born in Missouri. For WIlliam, there is a findagrave site (383966242). It has an obituary which lists is wife as Ruby Colling, marreid Feb. 4, 1961 in Edgerton, MO and three children: Dr. William Todd (Claudia) Burns of Rolla, MO, Bob (Lisa) Burns of Lathrop, MO, and Ted Burns of Bethany, MO + granchildren.
