(p.2813-2814). - On the 1910 US Federal Census for Kansas, Susan is listed as having had only 9 pregnancies, 7 of whom are alive. - Clarise Scruggs wrote out a list of Joseph's siblings, only 10. There were 4 girls: Martha, Charlotte, Susan, Edith, and 6 boys -- Walter, Herndon, Lawrence, Joseph, Edward, Simeon. - Ruth Scruggs stated that there was likely other girls born in 1881, 1882, and 1887 and a boy in 1885, bringing the total to 14 pregnancies; there is no official record of these other births so far. There is no record of any children born after Edith. - The "Kansas, Births and Christenings, 1818-1936" record lists son Simeon as Susan's tenth birth in 1893. But we know of at least one birth after Simeon, that of Edith. FamilySearch database changed the birth date from 18 Oct 1855 to 29 Oct 1854 -- no source listed for either (26jr14,ts).
