    The ship's manifest says Maria was 4 and 1/4 in 1882 when the family immigrated to the US. This does not agree with her being born in 1873. Most censuses give her age as compatible with a 1873 birth date. The birth registration says Feb. 2, 1873 was the date of baptism.
