Notes - NOTES: There is a Mary Hovis, b 10 Oct 1814, who marreid Joseph Fritz. They had several children: Lavina, Margaret A., Amanda C., James M., Robert C., Sarah Jane, Christoph R., John W., Homer H., and Mary Isabelle. Robert and Mary Fritz were living in Venango Twp., Butler Co. in 1850 with their then 8 children. Soon after, they relocated to Brady's Bend living on 2 tracks of land on the Allegheny River.) (Info from Findagrave) But it is not certain that this Mary Hovis was the daughter of Ernest T and Margaret Hovis. FaG is on familysearch. Ancestry has censuses: 1805, and 1880 and other docs for this family.
