    • HISTORY: (Dunklin, p.40) the wife of William Scruggs (Ref. 1.4.3.1), Eilzabeth Buford, was daughter of Captain James Buford and Elizabeth Bramlett. William's brother Thomas Scruggs married Judith Buford, Elizabeth's sister.
