    • HISTORY: Dunklin (p.31-32) says that Elizabeth (reference I.4.3.2), called '"Betsy," born in Virginia. married January 25, 1785 (by the Rev. Nathaniel Shrewsbury in Bedford County, Virginia), Julius Blackburn, the son of Edward and Anna Blackburn, and grandson of William and Elizabeth Blackburn."

      Dunklin says that Elizabeth was born in 1767. This is the same year that her brother Thomas was born. One of these may be off by a year or two.
